Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026.
1. The service
FasterMaster ("the Service") is a browser-based audio mastering tool operated at fastermaster.io. The Service runs entirely in your browser; the operator does not receive, store, or process your audio files.
2. Who can use it
Anyone with a modern browser. The Service is offered worldwide. By using it, you confirm you're 13+ years old, or have a parent's permission if younger.
3. Your content
- You own the audio you upload. We claim no rights to it.
- You're responsible for having the rights to master and distribute the audio you process. Don't run someone else's copyrighted material through FasterMaster and pretend it's yours.
- Mastered output (the WAV you download) is yours. You can sell it, distribute it, license it — no restriction from us.
4. Free and Pro tiers
Free
- 3 masters total (lifetime). Counter is enforced via your browser's local storage and validated server-side at download.
- MP3 export only.
- All mastering styles (STREET / MODERN / OPEN) and FINE-TUNE controls are available.
Pro ($4.99/month or $49/year)
- Unlimited masters.
- WAV (16-bit PCM) export.
- Email support.
- Cancel anytime — you keep Pro features until the end of your current billing cycle.
Lifetime Pro ($29 one-time, first 100 customers)
- Same as Pro, but for the lifetime of the Service.
- Limited to the first 100 purchases. After that, the offer is permanently closed.
- If FasterMaster shuts down (we hope not, but life), Lifetime Pro ends with the Service. No refunds for "the rest of forever" — that's the gamble of an early-adopter deal.
5. Payments and refunds
- Payments are handled by Polar.sh (our Merchant of Record). They're the entity on your bank statement and the one issuing receipts.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refund policy — within 14 days of first purchase, full refund on request, no questions. After 14 days, no refunds for completed subscription periods. Cancel anytime to stop future charges.
6. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Try to circumvent the free-tier limit (multiple accounts, automated tools, cleared storage in a loop).
- Reverse-engineer the JS to embed the engine in your own service without permission. Personal use is fine; competitive products aren't.
- Use the Service to process audio you don't have the right to.
7. Service availability
FasterMaster is offered as-is. We aim for high uptime but make no SLA. The audio engine itself runs locally, so even if our static hosting goes down, your in-progress master in an open tab keeps working — but you won't be able to load the page until we're back.
8. No warranty
The mastering output is what it is. We don't guarantee it will sound "professional", "radio-ready", or "like Daft Punk". The verdicts on the result page are jokes. If you need a guaranteed-quality master, hire a real mastering engineer.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (or zero, for free users). We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes (e.g. price changes, tier restructuring) will be emailed to Pro subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv.
